Well done to Cascada who have managed to pull off one of the biggest upsets in recent chart history. Despite the King of Pop’s death causing his songs to be played on pretty much every radio station non stop for the last 10 days, the dance act have managed to go straight to number one with ‘Evacuate The Dancefloor’. Listen to the song and writhe on a sofa to celebrate:

FYI – Although he’s not number one, Michael Jackson does have 13 songs in the Official UK Top 40 Singles chart and 5 of the top 10 albums.

America’s anti-drugs agency is investigating the death of pop star Michael Jackson, it has emerged.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) was called in by Los Angeles police to assist as they probe allegations the star was on powerful painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants, sources said.
Jermaine Jackson said he would be “hurt” if toxicology reports showed his brother had abused prescription drugs.
He told NBC he did not know of any drug abuse by the 50-year-old, who died last Thursday in LA.
