Well done to Cascada who have managed to pull off one of the biggest upsets in recent chart history. Despite the King of Pop’s death causing his songs to be played on pretty much every radio station non stop for the last 10 days, the dance act have managed to go straight to number one with ‘Evacuate The Dancefloor’. Listen to the song and writhe on a sofa to celebrate:

FYI – Although he’s not number one, Michael Jackson does have 13 songs in the Official UK Top 40 Singles chart and 5 of the top 10 albums.
I can’t believe I haven’t already posted this, the new single from Cascada. ‘Evacuate The Dancefloor’ is a complete rip off of the Lady Gaga/Red One sound only, like all good rip offs, it sounds a lot cheaper and the video has about 1/300th of the budget of Lady Gaga:
You can’t help but love it. It’s going to be one of those big summer hits we’re all laughing about by October. It’s released in the UK on 29th June.
